THE BLACK MAN HAS IT SO HARD IN AMERICA!!!!

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- An anti-war minister and U.S. Air Force veteran was treated in hospital after his arrest by Capitol Hill police outside this week’s Iraq congressional hearings.

The Rev. Lennox Yearwood, president of the Washington-based Hip-Hop Caucus, was charged with disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer after being denied entry to a House hearing room in which Gen. David Petraeus was giving evidence Monday, Capitol Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider told United Press International.

But a video of his arrest, posted on the Web site YouTube, does not seem to show any assault. Yearwood shrugs an officer’s hands off his shoulders and is immediately bundled to the floor by five or six policemen. FULL STORY

KANYE WEST BREAKING NEW GROUND??

While Kanye is dominating 50 Cent in album sales over both their highly anticipated projects that debuted on the same day, this past Tuesday – it seems that Kanye is upping the ante. Ryan Seacrest just broke word exclusively on his highly popular radio program that Kanye West has been tapped to perform on this years Emmy Awards. The award ceremony, which as far as I could find out has never included a hip-hop act as a performer, premieres on Fox this Sunday, September 16th, 2007.

There is no word yet on what he will perform. But lets hope all the bitching he did on the MTV Awards gets him the opening number.

THE DRAMA CONTINUES TO UNFOLD!!

The gossip magazines and bloggers of the world have been talking about Kim Porter, Diddy and Sarah Chapman for years. Stories of infidelity, back stabbing, and major baby mama drama proved all too salacious for anyone to ignore. But before anyone of us knew about the whisper of a showdown, celebrity photographer, Sandra Rose was the first to break the information.

And it looks like she’s done it again because according to her extremely popular entertainment blog, she’s obtained an exclusive interview with none other then the woman of the hour, at least as far as jumpoff’s are concerned, Ms. Sarah Chapman. Here's a little bit of what Sarah had to say:

"I never moved out of Atlanta," she said. "I have always lived here and I'm definitely 33. I graduated [from Spelman] in '96. My birthday is next week and I'm going to be 34," she said. "I never ran away from Atlanta because I was pregnant." Sarah, who was born in Minneapolis, said she moved to Atlanta at age 17 to attend Spelman College. Sarah's response to Kim's assertion that she didn't know her: "A lot of what you said is true about me and Kim. There's so much more to the story than that. She definitely knows who I am," said Sarah. "Yes, it's true, we've had words. [Kim] knew about my pregnancy prior to her getting pregnant. In fact, Kim and I met [Sean] at the same time." FULL STORY

PEREZ HILTON'S GOT BALLS!!

When shock blogger, Perez Hilton, announced on last seasons The View that VH1 had offered him is own show, I will admit that I was extremely surprised. While obscene and highly offensive commentary, graphic images, and explosive statements are great for the Internet, particularly blogs. The idea that a network would put Perez in front of the camera and give the self proclaimed “gangsta of gossip” direct contact with A-Z celebrities seemed very far-fetched. Fast-forward to tonight’s debut of “What Perez Sez” and I’ll be the first to admit that he pulled it off flawlessly.

In tonight’s episode Perez crashed MTV’s 2007 Video Music Awards the only way the gossip gangster could – with balls. His pink hair, high-octane antics, and fearless attitude towards the red carpet made for fantastic television. I mean to ask hip-hop producer Pharell from the Neptunes who had a bigger dick 50 Cent or Kanye West – made for a classic television moment. Perez also scored a rare interview with embattled singer, Amy Winehouse, displaying a much more docile and somber Amy then the tabloids portray.

Many bloggers have the gift of dishing out the jeers from behind their computer screen, but Perez proved that he’s not like most bloggers – he’s the real deal. All in all I have to give Hilton his props for flipping his highly successful blogging career into a flashy, frenzied television profession.

We all heard about Leona Hemsley leaving her beloved pooch 12 million dollars. But it seems that Oprah has upstaged the "Queen of Mean" because word is she is leaving 30 million to her dogs.

According to Womansday.com here's what the true "Queen of All Media" wants for her critters:

"Oprah has a menagerie of animals and she wants them to be pampered for the rest of their lives if she were to die first," a friend reveals.

"She has five dogs plus various other pets, so she rewrote her will to include millions for their care."

Although a $30million trust fund may sound extravagant, it's not much more than pocket change to the media mogul. "Oprah's a billionaire so that's not a lot of money if you look at her entire net worth," her friend points out.

Word is Oprah is also leaving 250 million to Stedman as hush money. But I dont believe that at all.

JENNIFER HUDSON ADDED TO THE CAST OF SEX IN THE CITY!!

The new Sex In The City movie is shaping up to becoming an interesting project. SITC fans have been eager to see the gals come together one more time in full feature film. And though word broke a couple of months ago that a film was being made, Variety just reported that Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson has just been added to the cast.

Hudson, who's in final negotiations, will portray the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw. Pic revolves around the lives of the four main "Sex and the City" characters, four years after the time frame of the finale of the HBO series, which wrapped its six-year run in 2004.

Pic will begin shooting in New York on Sept. 19. FULL STORY

I think its pretty safe to say that Jennifer is a full blown actress now. All this word breaking about acting roles. But nobody is saying anything about the music.

A CONCERT OF HAVE BEENS!!!

“American Idol” graduates Kimberley Locke, Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard are in talks to embark on a collective concert tour next year. According to Locke, Aiken and Studdard are game. “Now it’s up to our agents and managers to book it,” she tells Billboard. Locke says the trek will not be about “us as opening acts for each other. We’ll be using the same band and will be on the stage singing duets and trios throughout the concert.” The tour, with the working title Reunited: 5 Years Later, is expected to hit the road next spring.

Locke’s latest single, a cover of Freda Payne’s ’70s hit “Band of Gold,” is currently top 20 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Also in the offing is the album “Christmas,” due Oct. 9 from Curb Records. FULL STORY

Kanye West continues to prove that he is just one big baby after losing in all five categories at the 2007 MTV Music Awards. According to Yahoo News, the Louis Vuittion Don threw a bitch fit backstage vowing never to return to MTV. Here’s the report below:

West, waiting for an elevator in a crowded hallway, began yelling about losing all five categories for which he was nominated.
"That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance," West said, stomping around his entourage and directing his comments at a reporter. "I'm trying hard man, I have the ... number one record, man."

This picture was taken this weekend in Vegas while everyonce (except me) is there for the MTV VMA's. But I guess everyone has forgotten about Paris racist ranting back in the earlier part of this year right? Well let me fresh your memory.



Start watching the video at the 2:15 mark. It's pretty distrubing to watch someone with such privillege reduce herself to racist and homophobic slurs. Yet some of us (50 Cent) are willing to just let by gones be by gones. Pathetic!
