I can remember where I was when I watched my favorite Idol of all, Ms. Jennifer Hudson perform this classic Elton John song. Since it is the American Idol season all over again, I thought that I would post throw backs to past Idol performances. I will post one performance a week, now until June when the new Idol is chosen. Who knows , I may even post current Idol contestants if they perform well enough. Look for Jennifer to have a big year in 2006. She has been cast as "Effe" in the film adaptation of "Dream Girls" along side Beyonce, Eddie Murphy, and Jaime Foxx. Her album is also scheduled to be released as well Here's to you Jennifer! Keep on singing, and keep on blowing them away.

TUPAC TO BE WAXED!

Legendary rap star Tupac Shakur is set to be immortalized in wax by the talented sculptors at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Los Angeles. The slain rapper's statue will be erected as part of the 'On Stage' exhibition, and will capture Tupac wearing his signature bandanna, as well as displaying his multiple body tattoos.

His statue will stand besides the likes of Elton John, Sir Mick Jagger, and Prince. The exhibition will be audio-enabled, allowing visitors to listen to his greatest hits will admiring the work. Adrian Jones, a Madame Tussauds spokesman tells AllHipHop.com, "We have received more requests from the public to immortalise Tupac than any other rap star. It is fitting that he will be the central figure in our new On Stage attraction, which will offer the public a new high-tech system for enjoying the music of all the stars in the attraction."

I am going to start speaking my mind when I read bullshit articles. When I first heard about this shooting it was grossly down played as a random shooting on Busta Rhymes "Touch It" video shoot. It was also orginally reported that Busta wasn't even on the set. Entourage members said "he was in the studio at the time of the shooting." When I first saw that statement I knew that was bullshit. Videos are VERY expensive to make, and time is money. There is no way in hell there would be a video shoot for an artist, and he not be there. I thought it to myself, but didnt want to report anything but the facts(or so I thought). I Now I see need to go with my gut, becauseI know more then I realize.

There was a shooting at Busta Rhymes video shoot over this weekend. Police are looking for suspects in an early morning shoot out that left one dead. Israel Ramirez was shot in the chest, and pronounced dead a short time later. They are saying that Busta wasn't there. He was at the studio when the incident occurred.READ MORE HERE

Looks like speed just seems to be the theme in the DMX household. After just being released from jail for speeding(among other things) D's wife wants her chance in court. DMX's wife Tashera Simmons(34) has been charged with speeding(106 mph in a 65 mph zone), driving an unregistered vehicle, and not using child restraints because four of her children in the car were not wearing seat belts.READ STORY HERE
