NEW SINGER SONG WRITER WHO WILL BLOW YOU AWAY!!!!!!CLOX IS HIS NAME
Everyone!!!! I have to bring your attention to a new artist who is slowly creating a name for himself in sunny south FL. I came across some of this mans music, and I had to post his website for all to see. He has been doing local talent shows, as well as print work for modeling agencies. Clox is an artist in West Palm Beach FL, whose infectious carribean beats laced with R/B overtones puts him in a category all his own. He has a richness to his sound, and a uniqeness that is hard to describe yet when you hear his music it comes together beautifully. Clox describes himself as an artist, and not just a singer. His music is organic, and comes from the essence of who he is, and what he wants to put out there. Clox is also an aspiring author, poet, and singer song writter.I am working on getting a full fledge interview with him very soon. But in the meantime you can all check out his work, and listen to his music at http://cloxmusic.comRead More...Collapse...
Im back everyone..I know I have been missed, and I come bringing information.
If you have been living under a rock,(of just dont care) Brokeback Mountain comes out in limited release today. It opens nationwide next Friday 12/16/2005. The reviews are fantastic, and I have to say that I am very intrested in seeing this movie. I have reported on this story many times before, but I will give you a very quick recap. Brokeback Mountain is a short story from author Annie Proulx. It has been adapted into a screenplay, and now a movie. It is being directed by Ang Lee(Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). It stars Heath Ledger, and Jake G.
The New York Times says: "...Both Mr. Ledger and Mr. Gyllenhaal make this anguished love story physically palpable. Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn. The pain and disappointment felt by Jack, who is softer, more self-aware and self-accepting, continually registers in Mr. Gyllenhaal's sad, expectant silver-dollar eyes."
CNN.com say: In the case of "Brokeback Mountain," all the talent pays off. The combination of the terrific script, Lee's sensitive and precise direction, and the dynamic acting talents of Ledger, as ranch hand Ennis Del Mar, and Gyllenhaal, as rodeo cowboy Jack Twist, has resulted in an exquisitely crafted and ultimately melancholy love story -- epic in scope and intensely intimate at the same time. Quite simply, this is one of the best films of the year
