Everyone Has To See "The Color Purple Musical"

My dream has finally come true-one of the them anyway. I have prayed for this momment for years. I remember watching The Color Purple for the first time, when I was 9 years old, and though much of the dialouge went over my head, something deep inside me connected to it. Maybe it was the conncetion that I felt, and still feel towards my ancestors. Maybe it was the message that love is endless, and no matter how hard you try you cant break the human spirit. I have seen The Color Purple more times then I can remember, and now thanks to Oprah Winfrey, Scott Sanders, Roy Furman, and Quincy Jones this wonderul film is comming to Broadway. Opening night for "The Color Purple" will be on December 1st 2005. Oprah premiered a sample of the production on her show Friday, November 11,2005. It was truly an amazing experience just watching it on T.V., but for me that wont be enough. I am personally going NYC to see this show live, and I encourage ALL to do the same. Alot of great productions come and leave Broadway without a whisper of excitement. We owe it to ourselves to see that this production remains on Broadway for years to come. MTV "Runs House" A HIT!

Looks like Reverend Run is a taking his ministry global with his new reality show. MTV’s new reality Superstar has opened his home, and his family to the world. The show chronicles his every day life, as he prepares for a new solo album while devoting himself to family life, and all that comes with it. “Run’s House” has only been on for three weeks, but according to Nielsen Media Research has ranked # 5 in the top 10 Ad supported cable shows. In a statement release he says “My show is to preach by letting you look at my life on television. Look at the way that I raise my kids, look at the way that I treat my wife. That’s my ministry. I want you to look at me on MTV and say wow I like this guy. I don’t really give a big sermon on that show, but my life is the sermon” MTV has picked up “Runs House” for a second season.
