THE DON IMUS OUTRAGE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY MISPLACED!!!!

All right black people, we got the white man fired from television and radio. It was just announced that Don Imus has been canned by CBS. So this can be considered a victory right?

Hopefully we will start to hold our rappers accountable the way same we hold the white man! It’s time for a change—seriously!

I still don’t see what the big issue is regarding this entire controversy. Many within the black community have said a lot worse about our black women. But, we have the audacity to cry when a white man does it? What sense does that make???

The man said “Nappy Headed Ho!" He didn’t say "kill the nigger!". I wish you all could see how the black community has been used by Rev. Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson. They used this situation to push their own individual agenda(s). In this case the outrage has been completely misplaced.

WHY I LOVE BEING A ENTERTAINMENT BLOGGER!!

If you haven’t noticed, entertainment news-sites like PerezHilton.com, Mediatakeout.com, Sandrarose.com, and countless others (including this site) have completely refaced the way people get their entertainment information.

The apparent need for immediacy combined with society’s sensational hunger for anything celebrity. Has forged an unbreakable relationship with the public and bloggers. Millions of people across this world log onto these incredibly popular blogs to read up, criticize, or simply get one’s opinion on their favorite celebrities. And, with great reason!

While many mainstream media outlets, and print publications have a semi-obligation to their advertisers, and their over all business interests, those rules simply don’t apply to entertainment based news/gossip sites!

What has been proven time and time again is that people on the forefront of the entertainment industry, will deny a particular story or expose until one of us (bloggers) find out the real story and publish it to the masses. We’re prepared to go the extra mile while other mainstream media outlets remain apprehensive. And, that’s what makes the blogger an undeniable force in the entertainment industry.

PerezHilton.com was the first to break the news that former NSync group member Lance Bass was Gay. And, after at first denying the accusations and even going as far as having women surround him whenever he and his former lover were out in public, he later decided to come out to People magazine.

One my favorite bloggers, and personal friend—Sandra Rose was the first to report on Jay-Z’s shocking alleged “million dollar absent father” offer, to former video vixen, Shenelle Scott. And if you read any hip-hop publication on news stands currently, you’ll see her picture virtually everywhere.

Mediatakeout.com. along with the National Inquirer revealed a shocking story regarding one of America’s favorite comedians—Chris Rock and his alleged “dead beat daddy conduct” on March 29th, 2007 and in today’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution they are just now reporting on that story.

Though bloggers aren’t the most liked community as far as the entertainment industry is concerned, we are definitely the most connected as far as the people are concerned. And, that’s why I love being a blogger!

We aren’t just desired by most. We are needed by all!

JANET AND JERMAINE SUED FOR 120 MILLION DOLLARS!!!

Well where the hell have I been? According to news correspondent, Janeé Bolden, at Sohh.com Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are being sued for 120 million dollars for allegedly allowing a member of their security team to put Leonard Salati in a choke hold for trying to pass Janet a note at Club Marquee back in 2004.

Apparently Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Rolando Acosta decided that a $120 million assault suit against Jackson can move forward, requiring the singer to give a deposition under oath. FULL STORY

FANTASIA IS STILL A HOT COMODITY!!!

While it seems that nobody cared to listen to American Idol winner—Fantasia Barino’s self titled sophomore effort.

People are however, interested in seeing the avant-garde singer do her thing on the Broadway stage. As, The Color Purple has raked in an impressive six million dollars worth of tickets since Fantasia singed on to play the legendary role of Celie.

Producers of the hit Broadway adaptation that include such powerhouses like Quincy Jones, and of course Oprah Winfrey couldn’t be happier seeing that Fantasia’s presence has reignited interest in the once fleeting show. Before Fantasia joined the cast ticket sales were drastically down.

HERE'S MY SELECTION FOR THE NEW WONDER WOMAN!!

This is why I love Wendy Williams. She’s fearless, non apologetic, and lives her life for her and could give a damn about what anyone else thinks.

In a lot of ways she has unknowingly assisted me in becoming more comfortable in my own skin as the gigantor that I am. And its pictures like this that reinforce my appreciation for the Queen of All Media.

I’d heard that Wendy had dressed as Wonder Woman for Halloween but hadn’t seen the picture until now. I have had the pleasure of meeting Wendy on two occasions; one was a one on one sit down interview for this site. And as abrasive, and nonchalant as she can be, I enjoy each opportunity spent with her.

JENNIFER LOPEZ NEEDS TO SIT HER ASS DOWN SOMEWHERE!!

No disrespect to my personal favorites Melinda Doolittle , and Jordin Sparks. But you know that American Idol is scraping the bottom of the talent barrell when they have the audacity to allow, lip synching pro, Jennifer Lopez to offer vocal advise to this years contestants.

Jennifer is about as vocally talented as as Sanjya (yea I said it). While I realize that she may light up the silver screen with her "acting" ability. That doesn’t mean a hill of beans in a singing competition.

Also, is it me or are American Idol contestants starting to become too damn old ? I love Melinda’s voice but she looks like an elderly school teacher trying to recapture her youth. And Lakeisha—please! I think the 16-25 rule should be reinforced.

While all the black leaders are preparing boycotts against that damn Don Imus. I think I will start one of my own, addressing a much more pressing issue: Corny Reality Television. Since racism will obviously be here forever, we're going to always need American Idol based shows to bring us all together to gather, in harmony, around the office watercooler.

JENNIFER HUDSON NEEDS TO HIRE PROPER SECURITY!!

I am completely shocked by this video that was posted on famed blogger Just Jared’s site yesterday. In the video clip you have Academy Award Winner—Jennifer Hudson’s assistant filmed screaming and cussing at the paparazzi as they try to capture snapshots of the former American Idol contestant.

While this is nothing new to any one of us, this isn’t a good look for Jennifer seeing that she just left Atlanta where she performed for the nationally recognized Easter Holiday.

I can completely understand the powerhouse’s need for privacy. What isn’t clear is why she doesn’t employee real security guards to protect her. Or could there be a money issue that doesnt allow Jennifer to afford proper security?

Jennifer I got a lot of respect for you, but I want you to really do better. This isn’t a good look!
