I was just talking to a coworker of mine who ran through my office door in a mild panic asking me what I knew about Kanye West marrying his girlfriend Alexis. I told her what I had read, but she looked at me with her eyes squinted, asking me “what do you really know”. I told her that was all that
I had heard about the situation and that’s when she told me people are saying homo things about Kanye. I immediately told her Kanye West = No Homo. I don’t get that vibe when I look at him; when I watch his interviews, or his flashy persona. Is he a cocky bastard? Absolutely! But no homo.
Then later on today I go to one of my favorite sites mediatakeout.com and I realized where the question my coworker asked me originated.

Media is reporting that Kanye West and John Legend have an “oddly close relationship”. They go onto report that when Kanye got word that mediatakeout were working on an Exclusive exposé about his sexuality, he quickly got engaged.

That damn Tyler Perry, anything he touches turns to platinum. TBS has signed Perry’s sitcom “House of Payne

” to an exclusive 100 episode deal. The man who brought us the gun toting, feisty, quick to cuss you out, “Madea”, and who has also mastered the art of bringing big box office revenue with extremely small budgets is now turning his ambitions to television. In an unusual deal with TBS “House of Payne” will start its first “official” season in June 2007. Normally, syndicated sitcoms are already successful shows like “Friends” or “Seinfeld.” But Perry financed 10 episodes on his own last year and did a test-run in 10 cities, including Atlanta on TBS in June and July. I got a chance to watch the premiere episode, and I have to say that I wasn’t impressed, if anything I was bored, but as long as it appeals to the masses, then the hell with what I think. This is just my opinion, but after watching Big Boi, Scar and Janelle Monae on TRL (while Andre 3000 watched from the sidelines), and getting an exclusive sneak peak of “IdleWild”, I am convinced that Outkast is no longer. I could be wrong, but the vibe just seems to be off, the body language and everything is off. I'm going to love the music until I die, but something tells me Outkast wont be making new music anytime soon. But make sure you go to see the movie this weekend.

The unprovoked beatings would continue and she lived in fear of her life. She would escape while he was out on the road. This singer has also had run-in's with other artists. One of his background singers got a message regarding a family emergency, when he told the singer, he had to leave the tour because one of his parents was gravely ill, the singer said, you "leave and you're fired." The background singer was stunned but quit on the spot. A soul group who once opened for him, stole the show, in return, he did everything in his power to sabotage them. He made their lives so miserable, they quit the tour. This man is so complexed, he reads the bible and prays constantly despite his demons. Hint: This man is "NOT" James Brown or R. Kelly.

KIM PORTER "BEST BABY'S MOTHER OF THE MILLENNIMUM"!!!!

Hands down Kim Porter should be given a trophy for “Best Baby’s Mother of the Millennium”. If you thought she was financially set, with having Christian, the second heir to Bad Boy Records, and Sean John clothing, then she is doubly set now that it’s been confirmed by Sandra Rose that she is having Puffy’s twin girls, that’s right Kim is pregnant with twin girls. Puff is reportedly "ecstatic" that his boo is having twins!

I’ve said it before that Kim Porter is legendary in the entertainment industry. She has successfully mastered the game when it comes to horizontal positioning (read between the lines) to get the finer things in life.

Kim Porter has never been a rookie when it came to being the girlfriend of a superstar. She came to NYC from Atlanta in the early 90's where she was a receptionist at the now defunct Uptown Records. At that time she was dating the hottest R&B artist of the moment AL B. Sure, they have a child together, but when AL B. Sure’s star started to descend she quickly locked horns on another rising superstar-now the world famous Sean “Puffy”, “P. Diddy”, “Diddy”, Combs.

Since giving birth to Christian, Kim has stood by while Puffy has continued to live his life as a bachelor. Puffy has dated Jennifer Lopez, and is rumored to now have another child (newborn) by someone here in Atlanta, but I haven’t investigated that enough to know the details (at the end of the day I have my own damn problems, and I can’t be searching this city for information on baby’s mothers, I’m not the National Inquirer). Kim has also stood by Puffy even when he (allegedly) wouldn’t pay up when it came to supporting her, and her children. There have been recent reports that Puffy has proposed to Kim and that they will soon wed, but don’t hold your breath on that one.

CBS is playing with a loaded weapon for their new season of Survivor. The hugely successful show, where they take contestants to a remote island to compete for a million dollar prize, has decided to “switch” things up this season by pitting races against each other. The will have a Asian Group, Hispanic Group, and African American Group, and Caucasian group(note I was very politically correct in describing the different ethnic groups) competing against each other for the top prize. They may think this new idea may give them the edge on reality TV, but I think this could severely back fire. It’s 2006 and though we have made progress in dealing with race relations, the idea of separating people by race and have them compete against one another makes me a bit uneasy The host Jeff Probst is calling it a "Social Experiment", but I don’t think it’s a good idea. If anything this may attract a lot of viewers, because although I have never watched Survivor, I’ll be watching it this season to see all what’s a doing.FULL STORY

Kelis is a little piss

ed at Jive because she claims they aren’t respecting her wishes or concerns towards her new album “Kelis Was Here” due out on August 27, 2006. Kelis recently spoke with The New York Daily News’s Jim Faber saying:

"My label is constantly trying to take control of me," she says. "I'm not a new artist. I've been working hard to create my persona and have longevity and they went against my wishes."

Yesterday I reported that Busta Rhymes was arrested over the weekend. Now there is more information on his situation. While in custody, the NYPD questioned Rhymes about the February murder of Ramirez, his bodyguard. It is Busta's refusal to cooperate with authorities that his lawyer says is the police's motivation for booking the rapper.
"He was eligible for a desk appearance ticket. But what happened here is that they put in the system as a payback," Leemon told reporters. However, police insist the charges were simply too serious to issue an immediate desk ticket.
Listen I know its really not respected to talk to the police, "popo", "pigs", whatever you want to call them, but it is what it is. To me if you know something, anything that will bring justice and peace to the Ramirez family then why not do so? What in the hell is this? Kevin Federline, Britney Spears husband, performed on the Teen Choice Awards last night? I’m speechless…. Why does everyone think, that just because they have embraced the hip hop culture by wearing baseball caps, timberland boots, and smoking weed, that they are in fact hip hop?* Note to be considered hip hop, you have to possess this little thing called talent. His performance was so bad that I can’t even form the words to formulate my thoughts. After shopping his independently produced album to every major record label, and ultimately being turned down, he has decided to distribute it on his newly formed and independently owned “Federation Records”. y because he is connected through Master P. I really can’t recall one song he EVER did, but I think he used to date Monica. Well apparently he’s been going back and fourth with the courts recently. First he was released on house arrest pending a new trial, then he was released from house arrest, but after prosecutors appealed that decision, the Louisiana higher court ruled over the lower court and now he is back on house arrest. It’s all just a little too much for me to pay attention to, for someone who I barely recall musically.FULL STORY
