CBS is playing with a loaded weapon for their new season of Survivor. The hugely successful show, where they take contestants to a remote island to compete for a million dollar prize, has decided to “switch” things up this season by pitting races against each other. The will have a Asian Group, Hispanic Group, and African American Group, and Caucasian group(note I was very politically correct in describing the different ethnic groups) competing against each other for the top prize. They may think this new idea may give them the edge on reality TV, but I think this could severely back fire. It’s 2006 and though we have made progress in dealing with race relations, the idea of separating people by race and have them compete against one another makes me a bit uneasy The host Jeff Probst is calling it a "Social Experiment", but I don’t think it’s a good idea. If anything this may attract a lot of viewers, because although I have never watched Survivor, I’ll be watching it this season to see all what’s a doing.FULL STORY
Christina Aguilera leads a charge of debuts in the top five slots of The Billboard 200 with the double-disc RCA set "Back to Basics." The set sold 342,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, giving Aguilera her first No. 1 album since her 1999 self-titled debut. The first-week sales for "Back to Basics" are the most for a solo female artist since Mary J. Blige moved 727,000 in December with "The Breakthrough." Aguilera's current single, "Ain't No Other Man," has peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 thus far. Lyfe Jennings opens at No. 2 with his sophomore Columbia effort "The Phoenix," which sold 136,000 copies. The set also bows at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.FULL STORY
According to Billboard.com Snoop Dogg pushed his eighth solo album back from October 19th, to November 21. Snoop’s new album is titled “The Blue Carpet Treatment”. I didn’t even know he had an album coming out, so for all you Snoop fans out there he’s coming back. FULL STORY
Here’s a kat I haven’t talked about in a long time, and that’s a good thing. I love what Lebron James is doing with his game and how he handles his personal life. You don’t hear anything about the 6”8, 240lb basketball star, and if you do it’s always something positive. It’s never anything negative that we can latch on to and dissect, well unless you count his mother and that DUI situation earlier this year, and even that was swept under the rug so fast that no one seemed to notice (but of course I did).
Lebron James was in Japan recently promoting his two new shoe designs by Nike. In a very candid interview, Lebron discusses his attempt to go global with his image, and how he plans on being the first billionaire athlete surpassing the much successful Michael Jordan.

The man who received the alleged “beat down” by Busta Rhymes is planning a civil lawsuit against the rapper, who still has failed to reach gold status with his newest album. Robert Lebron claims that he accident spit on the vehicle the lyricist was driving.
"Me and my friends were walking across the street. I spit on the street and it landed on a moving car. It was a Maybach. That car stopped, along with two black SUVs," the 19-year-old told The New York Times.
Boy I tell you that Karma is a son of a bitch. Busta is too damn old to be wildin out like this.FULL STORY
One of the most important parts of being a writer is having the inspiration to write. I get excited reporting news, and entertainment information, putting the “o1lt” spin on it to make it interesting, but when it comes to Beyoncé, Star and “Gal” I lose the inspiration to keep it attention-grabbing. Beyoncé’s reports are about to be banned from this site like I’ve banned Star Jones and Gal Reynolds gay rumors. It seems like I’ve been talking about Beyoncé everyday for at least a week and half, and frankly I am tired of talking about her. From the”Déjà vu”, and “Ring the Alarm’s” lack luster appeal to the masses, to her album “B-Day” receiving bad reviews, it’s all become too much and I’m done.
The latest report is that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are planning a three million dollar wedding in late November. Every body is talking about this rumor. In my car on my way to school this morning, that’s all the radio was talking about, and all I can do is sit back and look dumbfounded because has everyone forgotten how private Beyoncé is? Since when has she ever told anyone, anything about her personal life, especially when it involves her hip hop beau Jay-Z. People just grab a rumor and go full force with it, and its crazy. I know we here at the “Hot and Black Experience” contribute occasionally to the hysteria of the rumor mill, but we also keep it real on this site. And if I can keep it real for a moment, when Beyoncé and Jay make that move to become united in spirit and love and all that bullsh*t, something tells me we wont know much about it.FULL STORY
50 Cent is convinced The Game's second album will be a major flop because the superstar's former protégé won't have his award winning rhymes to work with.50 and The Game famously fell out last year after the apprentice spoke out in favour of his boss' rap rivals, and the pair have been publicly feuding ever since.FULL STORY

Do you agree with 50? Watch The Game's new video "One Blood". Personally I dont like it. He's not saying anything he hasnt said already from his last album, I cant even recall the name of his last album.
