EXCLUSIVE*******SNEAK PEAK AT JANET JACKSON'S "CALL ON ME"!!!************

I’m sure you all tired of me talking about the Star Jones Reynolds mess, but I am very proud of Star. Throughout this entire situation she has maintained her poise, and professionalism. So many times AfricanAmericans are viewed as hostile, belligerent, and having no class. But Star has shown us all how to not perpetuate the stereotype. Black people, you know how we can get when we feel betrayed or backstabbed especially in a work environment. It can also get 10 times worse when woman are involved. ABC’s, The View, has baited her trying to bring out that “black” side to further prove reasons for her dismissal, but Star hasn’t fallen for it. For that alone I think she should be commended.
Not for nothing but had it have been me. I would have made that speech on Tuesday, June, 27 gotten up and walked off the stage on live television. But I’m glad that she held her poise, and showed Middle America who probably is associated with the African American culture through Star that we all don’t act like the people you see on Maury Povich.Full Story Here And Here
Mary J. Blidge is having a coke and a smile today for sure. It has been reported that Mimi Valdes (Editor and Chief of VIBE Magazine) has gotten the boot along with other employees. If you remember Mimi authorized the cover of Mary looking like an Ethopian crack addict. Mary and Mimi exchanged words but they eventually moved on. Life is such poetic justice sometimes. Finally 3LW are back. They are now signed to So So Def. Of course J.D. put his thing on their new single. “Feeling You” is O1LT.com’s “Video Of The Week”. Check it out!!

If anyone tuned into the BET Music Awards last night you saw the newest Dreamgirls trailer. It looks like its going to be one hell of a movie. I searched the internet until the early morning so that you all could see it. Enjoy!!!!

Janet Jackson, and the cast of Good Times had a surprise reunion on stage before presenting an award, and the economical gap couldnt have been more wider.
T.I. instead of calling that song “What You Know About That”, it should have been called “What The Hell Was That”? Violins and organs??? You’re not Diddy!!!!
Say what you want but Jaime Foxx can sing his ass off, but I am not sure if I was feeling the remix to “DJ Play Me Another Love Song”. I see what Jaime was trying to but it didn’t work. It just sounded like a lot of noise. The slob down between Fantasia and him was a little creepy. Clive will do anything to promote his artists. Dont forget Jaime and Fantasia are on the same label. Has anyone been talking about her lately? I know Im jaded. I see everything in the entertainment industry as a calculated business move. Sidebar did Fantasia gain weight or was it the dress??
What’s with all the Walmart commercials?? As an African American should I be offended? I’ve counted 3 so far and its only 8:15 P.M.
Usher your still the King! Chris tried but he’s not there yet. Other then the back flips there wasn’t anything different or stand outish about his performance.
Mary J. Blidge seemed bored while singing. So many artist don’t understand that there live performance should be show stopping. Mary lets not forget your still on tour and you got tickets to sell. I don’t have to tell you that your venues aren’t sold out (sorry Mariah). It wasn’t bad and it got better as it went along but it’s nothing that you would remember beyond tonight. Though I did appreciate the shout out, “I be with LT when you come to your senses”
Someone teach T.I. to lose the southern draw when you’re on national television. Don’t look at me like that. I was just playing!!
Keisha Cole’s voice is off the chain. She is ghetto as hell, but I love it all. She reminds me of Mary J. Bidge when she was younger, just defiant until the end, and wants to do it her way or no way at all. With that said will someone teach her how to breath correctly so she can finish a damn song? It wasn’t a good a look. If I were an executive at her label we would have to have a discussion.
Puffy is the cockiest brutha on the planet. And you know what?? It’s 100% our fault we have no one to blame but ourselves.
Damon Waynas has to be the worst host ever. I have never heard someone trip over their words so much. We can all be sure that he won’t be back next year. BET should have had brought back Monique nobody does it like her.
SHOUT OUT TO BUSTA RHYMES DOING HIS THIZZLE!!!!!!! That’s how you do it!! When you bring Rah Digga, Lloyd Banks, Kelis, Will I. AM, Missy, Mary J. Blidge, and Eminem to the stage you’re not playing. That’s was the hottest performance behind Ms. Beyoncé Knowles. Chris, Keisha take notes. That’s a veteran for you.
That makes # 5 for the damn Wal-Mart commercials. Funny how I don’t see those on the MTV Music Awards. I’m not saying I’m just saying.
The rest of the show was a bore.
