ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE-SCOTT STORCH!!!!

Mega producer Scot Storch talks to Rolling Stone magazine about his career, artists that he has worked with, and how good life has been since getting in the music business. It is reported that Scott Storch is worth 70 million dollars, spawning numerous hits for various artists including Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Dr. Dre and Busta Rhymes. But with success sometimes comes a certain grade of cockiness. In this new article Scott is calling Beyoncé disloyal saying:

"I worked with Beyoncé on her last album," Storch says. "I wasn't invited to the new album. I only delivered three hit records last time. But a lot of artists figure they want to try something different. Whatever. There's certain artists who are loyal and certain ones don't really care and don't give you the opportunity to follow through with them again. I'm insulted by a lot of the artists I delivered hits to."

And Christina Aguilera:

"Like Christina Aguilera." Storch made seven songs for her most recent album, Stripped, two of them singles, and helped her sell 12 million records worldwide, but he's not working on her new album, Back to Basics. "I told [Christina's people] I needed a private plane to get out to L.A.," he says. "I had to bring equipment, clothes, my people. You want me to move my life from Miami to L.A. for six months, and you can't get me a plane to do it? She didn't go to bat for me. And I truly cared about her as a person and a friend and as an artist."

It’s an intresting article. It just goes to show you how much money and fame can provide a person with a certain sense of delusion that only money and fame can support. In my opinion Scott should be humbled and appreciative that he has had the opportunity to work with the people he has worked with. Fame can come and go. I’m sure you all tired of me talking about the Star Jones Reynolds mess, but I am very proud of Star. Throughout this entire situation she has maintained her poise, and professionalism. So many times AfricanAmericans are viewed as hostile, belligerent, and having no class. But Star has shown us all how to not perpetuate the stereotype. Black people, you know how we can get when we feel betrayed or backstabbed especially in a work environment. It can also get 10 times worse when woman are involved. ABC’s, The View, has baited her trying to bring out that “black” side to further prove reasons for her dismissal, but Star hasn’t fallen for it. For that alone I think she should be commended.

Not for nothing but had it have been me. I would have made that speech on Tuesday, June, 27 gotten up and walked off the stage on live television. I don’t want to beat a dead horse, but this Star Jones Reynolds/The View saga continues. Barbara Walters is talking to the press and she feels “betrayed” by Star Jones. According to the Associated Press Barbara admits that Star was going to be terminated, based on her mysterious weight loss, and public marriage last year to Banker Al Reynolds where she attempted to get as much free merchandise from companies in exchange for free advertisement on “The View”. Barabara claims "We tried to talk the ABC brass out of the decision, and give Star time to redeem herself but in the eyes of the audience, and research. It just kept getting worse and worse.”
I hate to agree with Barbara but I believe that more then anything. I watch “The View” everyday and I used to love Star. She exuded confidence as a full figured woman. But whe

n she started to lose the weight that confidence bordered on conceitedness, and it really started to show Star in a different light. Add the over the top wedding, and the gay rumors surrounding her husband. And it was just a recipe for disaster. If you think about it, out of all the ladies on “The View” Star was the only one in the news on a daily basis. That could have been a problem for the ladies at the round table. I don’t want to take the easy way out and say this was a racial issue because I don’t believe it to be. I personally saw this coming, particularly when Rosie was named Meredith Vierra’s successor. O.K. I take back everything I have ever said badly about Beyoncé Knowles. That chick (and I mean in the best way) is off the chain. I have never seen a performer feel herself like she did on that stage. The all girl band was a unique touch and Jay-Z of course was off the chain particularly the “bounce” part where he slapped Ms. B’s booty. But when she collapsed on the floor and dragged herself down the stage in heels. It was sensory overload, and I blacked out. I came too just as Damon Waynas opened the show with that corny ass monologue.

Janet Jackson, and the cast of Good Times had a surprise reunion on stage before presenting an award, and the economical gap couldnt have been more wider.

T.I. instead of calling that song “What You Know About That”, it should have been called “What The Hell Was That”? Violins and organs??? You’re not Diddy!!!!

Say what you want but Jaime Foxx can sing his ass off, but I am not sure if I was feeling the remix to “DJ Play Me Another Love Song”. I see what Jaime was trying to but it didn’t work. It just sounded like a lot of noise. The slob down between Fantasia and him was a little creepy. Clive will do anything to promote his artists. Dont forget Jaime and Fantasia are on the same label. Has anyone been talking about her lately? I know Im jaded. I see everything in the entertainment industry as a calculated business move. Sidebar did Fantasia gain weight or was it the dress??

Am I the only one who is tired of dating? I mean think about it. You spend hours talking to a new potential who you’ve casually given your number to at a club or social event or worse the internet. You both share in completely fictional conversations highlighting your best attributes completely dismissing the unflattering things about yourselves. You start to become interested in personality traits that really aren’t there and you go out on the horrible first day. I say horrible because 9 times out of 10 they are just that. If you think about it carefully you’d agree. You spend god knows how much time deciding what you have in your closet that will highlight your best features (maybe your arms) but at the same time hide your bad features(that belly you have). Then you have to try and meet up somewhere centrally located. I don’t know about you but I live in Atlanta, GA and shit is so spread out that we have to agree on somewhere we will both burn the same amount of gas. Then after you meet which usually is at a restaurant because lets face it we are both going to need some alcohol to make this as painless as possible. We have more conversation and constant interruptions by our server acting as a buffer that you’ve already requested him/her to do as your date goes to the bathroom to wash their hands. The check comes to the table and now you have to decide. Is this going to be Dutch or should I pick up the tab. Now mind you this decision completely relies on how well or not the date has gone thus far. I personally just pick up the tab so that I don’t burden myself with that none sense. The date is usually bad enough lets just get it over with.

I have become completely disgusted in today’s dating scene. So much so that I don’t even desire to meet anyone anymore and go through anymore bullshit. Maybe it’s because I’ve been single so long (and just so we’re clear seeing someone for 2-3 weeks isn’t dating…well not really.) that I just don’t know how to bring someone into my life without them getting on my last nerve. We live in a time where we are valuing the wrong things (present company included). We say we want commitment and dare I say it “Love”, but we only want that in the “package” that we determine to be worthy. Lets be honest fellas if you met a girl and she had everything you were looking for emotionally, had a personality that was appealing to you, but she wasn’t necessarily a show stopper or had a few extra pounds; do you think you’d be interested? Women are more adapt to looking at success and security rather then looks. Look at Beyoncé and Mr. Joe Camel (respect to you Jay-Z, but it is what it is). But even women are guilty as well. Ladies if you meet a man who has everything you were looking for financially stable, tall, good looking, but lacked in a certain area below the waist(if you know what I’m saying and I think you do) would you be interested? One has to wonder with all the bad dates that we go on. With all the foolishness we put up with why do we constantly put ourselves in the same situation time and time again?

You have to wait (in some cases) 2 weeks to get your results and during that time it’s constantly hitting you like a ton of bricks. One minute your fine, and the other your stressed the hell out.
