    By L.T. Dinwiddie
"And if it is, then we need to go step to Paramount, and f--king MGM, and all of these other motherf--kers that's making all of these movies and we need to go step to MTV and Viacom, and lets talk about all these f--king shows that they have on MTV that is promoting homosexuality, that my kids can't watch this sh-t," he continued. "Dating shows that's showing two guys or two girls in mid-afternoon. Let's talk about s--t like that! If that's not f--king up America, I don't know what is." --Ja Rule

I didnt realize that you could "promote" homosexuality. Maybe it's just me but he sounds like a moron.

DOES HIP-HOP HATE CAM THAT BAD??

Well God dayum is NYC trying to shut the whole world down? I already told y’all about New York rapper, Tru Life, appearing on Wendy’s WBLS radio program between 2-6pm this coming Monday. But now my girl Miss Info from HOT 97 is saying that Jim Jones will also be on The Funkmaster Flex Show on Monday dishing everything Cam’ron.

Rumors have been swirling and the streets have been talking about the future of Killa Cam and the Dipset crew. Miss Info spoke exclusively with Jim Jones regarding the situation and this is what he had to say:

“Me and Cam’ron haven’t spoken to each other in a year…. I kept quiet out of loyalty, I felt like if we cant be friends then at least we can do business together….But now I can’t be next to you….I’m through wit being in hot water because of you….We still the Diplomats. We worked too hard to achieve our own success and now we’re gonna do something new….”

I don’t know much about this entire hip-hop beef, but I for damn sure know two things. Firs off I’ll know where I, much like most of you, will be come Monday – sitting in front of my computer taking in ever salacious detail. And secondly, as interesting as all this is let’s not let this get of hand people. At the end of the day it isn’t that serious. Wait, I think I’m the adding fuel to fire aint I? Damn, oh well it is what it is.

I got to add this las thing too. All this couldnt be happening at a worse time with Hip-Hop being on the defense like its been these past few weeks. I wonder if everyone in Hip-Hop could hold their beef's for a year..you know let everything smooth out!

TRU LIFE JUST WONT STOP WITH THE MUDSLINGING!!!

    By L.T. Dinwiddie
I will be the first to admit that this Tru Life and Cam’ron situation is as juvenile as “Dennis the Menace” but it’s still great grist’s for the mill. I’ve already informed you guys about the radio interview on Monday that’s happening over at WBLS.

But now, thanks to my new e-friend Drew over at Drewreports.com, he’s got a video that's sheding more light on the beef between the two east coast rappers. Check it out here

ITS GOING DOWN ON THE "WENDY WILLIAMS EXPERIENCE" SHOW ON MONDAY!!!

    By L.T. Dinwiddie
I’m sure you have all heard about the beat down that Dipolmat representative Cam’ron got served by Puerto Rican rapper - Tru Life last week. If you haven’t then allow me to recap!

According to SoHH.com this is what happened:

"What happened last night was Cam was standing in front of Club Stereo and Tru Life confronted him about what's been going on back and forth on the mixtapes and they got into a physical confrontation. Pretty much Tru Life hit Cam, cops broke it up and everyone dispersed," Ed Lover told SOHH exclusively.

But just as that account was printed, Cam’ron’s camp immediately released this statement.

"From my understanding Cam'ron was outside of Club Stereo with his manager when Tru Life pulled up to the Club Stereo and made a big scene in the middle of the street with tons of police officers already outside the venue..." said a rep for Cam'ron. "So there was never a moment for Tru Life to actually get close to Cam'ron to hit him. Cam'ron never responded to Tru Life and just looked at him as the cops made Tru Life leave the area. Cam'ron viewed it as a publicity stunt considering the police were on-site and never responded to Tru Life's antics."

Now as interesting as all this is, I got to tell ya its about to get even more interesting - because the streets are talking and everyone is saying that not only did Cam’ron get his ass whooped, but that he also was crying like a little B**ch!

But if a beat down served by Jay-Z's Roc-La-Familia artist wasn’t bad enough. WBLS Shock Jock Wendy Williams just announced today that Tru Life will be on her show on Monday (May 6th) to address all the rumors and give his account on exactly what happened.

I don’t know about you, but I know where I’m going to be Monday. Let’s get on with the grease throwing! This is the Wendy Williams I remember from back in the day. It’s so nostalgic!!

Don’t forget that you can listen to The Experience on O1LT.com.

IS YUNG JOC FOLLOWING IN AKON'S FOOTSTEPS??

    By L.T. Dinwiddie
I constantly get tips all the time from groupies, industry insiders etc, trying to put somebody on blast for some ridiculous reason or another. Most stories I tend to ignore, however, this one seems to be one of the more alarming tips I got over the weekend. In this picture obtained exclusively by O1LT.com, you have one of Atlanta’s more popular rappers—Young Joc groping what appears to be a very young female fan.

While I am unable to confirm the girls age, I’m told that she is 16 years old. I have to admit that she does appear to be very young looking in the face. And while that is alarming in it self, what is more troubling is that she appears to be completely unfazed by his inappropriate gesture.

It seems that every since Russell Simmons and others showed up on The Oprah Winfrey Show two weeks ago trying to protect rappers, producers, and the everyday “poets” who are apart of the hip-hop culture. Hip-hop continues to be on the defense.

For every move Russell makes in an attempt to dispel the negativity surrounding one of the world’s most popular cultures. Somebody from inside the rap game countermoves his efforts and ultimately shines the light even brighter on the multi-billon dollar industry.

It’s examples like these that make it hard for rappers, radio stations, and even society to truly understand the significance regarding women and their argument over how they are portrayed in Hip-Hop. Show me 5 girls who are appalled by this photograph and I will show you 10 more who wouldn’t be. If anything they would want to be in the picture with him.

DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY READ MY STUFF??

    By L.T. Dinwiddie

    Could my commentary on
The Hip-Hop Side Step have contributed to Russell Simmons back pedaling in the media recently? If hip-hop were a child then this baby would have to belong Russell, who though he’s publicly defending, you know he's whooping ass at home.

From Oprah, to his recent public statements and now an appearance on the provoking Bill O’Rielly Show, it looks like Russell is willing to go the distance to support the genre that has sparked such controversy. Check the video below!

Oh by the way Is Hip-Hop Dead? Dont ask Young Jeezy that question!

    THE HIP-HOP SIDE STEP!!

    By L.T. Dinwiddie

After watching Oprah’s Town Hall Meeting today where the Hip-Hop industry came to it’s own defense amidst public opinions that the culture demeans, disrespects, and demoralizes women, gays, and the overall black man. I can’t help but get the sense that Kevin Liles, Russell Simmon, and even Common (which I don’t understand why in the hell he was there in the first place because he doesn’t make the music, or spew the questionable lyrics that we are all discussing) were skirting around the issue.

At first they blatantly refused to accept accountability for the fact that Hip-Hop is getting worse! The culture that we’ve embraced for 30 years isn’t evolving or progressing.

Oprah Winfrey, the queen of daytime television, invites Hip-Hop’s elite on her show, when we all know she isn’t the biggest fan of hip-hop to begin with. And what does hip-hop do—we side step.

The fact of the matter is that these “poets” that Russell and Kyle so vehemently defend isn’t acting with social responsibility. Am I, or many others from the African-American community putting all rappers in that category—no! However if you look at the current billboard charts, then you would see that most of today's music is hip-hop based. And the most popular hip-hop songs have to do with the exploitation of women on some level, no matter how subtle.

This was the opportunity of a lifetime to address Middle American—AKA—white people about what the real issue is. And they spent damn near 20 minutes thanking Oprah for allowing them to come to her show. What the hell was that about?????

And was I the only one who watched Russell Simmons, one of the founding fathers of Hip-Hop, defend offensive lyrics by saying they (rappers) just don’t know any better? I didn't grow up with a mother to teach me that calling a woman a bitch was wrong, but something inside of me knew that it was.

While I understand that Hip-Hop isn't to blame completely for societies issues, and the depiction of African-American woman, it plays a much bigger part than people from within the industry want to admit!

I’m over it!! Hip-Hop, in this instance has disappointed me!
