WATCH LT TURN INTO A GROUPIE!!

I reached a personal career high when I had the chance to capture video of Janet Jackson at J.D’s new club opening in Tucker, GA. I was going as Gyant for SOHH.com. When it comes to celebrities I am very jaded and unfazed. That is until I saw Janet. When I saw her walk down the red carpet something inside me transformed into a groupie. I was stunned, and I never get stunned for ANYONE.

Not only is she beautiful, regal, and just one of my overall favorite entertainers. But she’s also apart of history. I mean she’s a Jackson – the first, and probably only, African-American family that has set the bar in this business. It was a personal career high that I really wanted to share with you all. Usually I edit my videos so that you hear music over the visuals. But I want you to hear my general and honest reaction to such a legend.

JANET OBVIOUSLY HASN'T LEARNED HER LESSON!!!

Ok Janet is starting to piss me off. Instead of just sticking with what worked with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on her previous multi-platinum albums, it seems she’s still listening to Mariah magic man Jermaine Dupri.

It would appear that she hasn’t been embarrassed enough as Pharrell told Hot 97 recently that he is scheduled to go into the studio with Janet toward the end of July.

Janet's new CD is shaping up to be pretty unimpressive. With likely contributions from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, JD, Ne-Yo, and now Pharrell, the album will hopefully propel Janet to the top of the charts again (though I seriously doubt it). The 'All for You' singer is reportedly now signed to Island Def Jam.

JANET....NO BOO!!

Ok, I think I am going to just turn my ears off regarding any future musical projects my girl Janet Jackson drops in the future so that I may preserve my fondness of her.

Not for nothing, lawd knows I love me some Janet. But, I cant take the disappointing reports that she is in fact in Miami, FL recording new tracks with Jermaine Dupri. As if she hasn’t learned her lesson already.

This is what the Miami Herald reported on their site yesterday:

Janet Jackson and a group of male and female friends--no sign of boyfriend Jermaine Dupri---slipped in the back door of Prive Saturday night for promoter Justin Levine's Empire Events party. Holding court in Prive's hip hop section, Ms. Jackson, clad in head to toe form fitting white pants, shirt and shoes showed off her svelte figure while sipping red wine and grooving to hits by Diddy, Jay-Z and a vintage Jackson 5 remix. Jackson is down here with record exec LA Reid for the next three months recording her new album at Circle House Studios. Boyfriend Dupri is also in on the production.

Boo…No! Stop being cute and get your little ass back in the studio with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. I hate to say it Millicent (do your history) but your voice can’t support JD’s beats.
