Kelly Rowland: I am actually. I'm going back into the studio to do some more songs. I was very apprehensive at first, but I swallowed my pride. The record industry is very different. Things are going more digital and I want to accommodate my fanbase.
And what fan base is that?

lol more than the people who post on your blog is for sure! word on the street is that her first album sold over 2.5 million worldwide, and over 500,000 in the us. word on the street is that her album is on the shortlist for two grammys next year and word on the street is that if you find kelly relevant to post about, she's relevant! so b'tch please!
lt, that was kind of. we all know she's not beyonce, she knows she's not beyonce, i don't even think wants to be beyonce but just b/c she's not as big as beyonce doesn't mean she doesn't have fans or a fanbase. about 80k people bought her album the first week it came out, some people would give their first born child to even sell half that. i'm a big beyonce fan, and i like kelly a little, but she just doesn't do it for me like beyonce does, but at the same time she doesn't deserve to be talked about like that. she's a very sweet girl who's doing the best that she can. the music industry has changed a lot since the 90's amd early 2000, people don't sell millions of records anymore. 5 years ago people were selling 5-10 million albums in the US alone now those same people are barely pushing 3-5 million worldwide, beyonce included. so imagine if you're not that "status" how much you can expect to sell. i didn't buy kelly's last album b/c i had heard a lot of the songs and just didn't feel compelled to but i listen to it just as much as i listen to beyonce's and i plan on buying her re-release when it comes out. i know i said a lot but whatever. just please be nicer next time, you don't have to be mean to get your point across.

I'm not a huge fan of Destiny's Child or Beyonce but I have to admit, I actually like Kelly Rowland's second CD. It'll be interesting to see what these extra songs will sound like.
