Ok, y'all need to talk it out. I know who you're talking about. A Rose by any other name is just as sweet. I was pretty apalled by her thoughts on both issues myself, but everyone has their opinion. I LOVE YA, MAN!!

Yea... I think there's one black baby doll in the background and maybe a tan one but that could just be the light... I dunno.
I don't know how I feel about this one? I've scene documentaries where black young girls (the same age that would own a doll in the background of of this ad) say that they find white dolls to be 'prettier' than black dolls.
Now if I was a celebrity and my 'team' approved an ad for my product (that ultimately is a reflection of me), that may support or promote the misguided thoughts of those black girls in that documentary, I would have a problem with it. As should all black people. No?
This may not be as serious of an issue as Jena 6, but it is serious nonetheless where black self image is concerned.
I don't see the problem people have with this ad. I think it's sweet. If anything it's showing the cute, black babygirl outshining the little dolls around her that all look the same. I think this is a compliment. Does anyone else see that?

I don't see what is wrong with the doll ad. To me it says all those other dolls are the same, but I am unique. I appears as if the doll stands out amoung the rest....don't yall get it?
Although I do not purchase her line of clothing (because the cloths are tacky), the baby ad is cute. Hopefully, the baby clothes will not be tacky.
