Before the term "downlow" was coined, a black actor who portrayed (someone in law enforcement) on television led a double-life. This man was rugged, masculine and sexy yet he had a thing for transsexuals and straight men (he loved the challenge of trying to turn them out). Ironically, his non-black co-star was also a homosexual who tried to date women for appearances (my gay hairstylist use to date him). After the show got cancelled, they both continued to date/marry women as they creep with men on the sly.

The downlow syndrome extends to every race. Currently, the non-black lead actor in a Fox television series is gay. His publicist goes to great lengths to hide his sexuality. Hint: He is gorgeous.

Also, a veteran white soap opera actor who is extremely famous, has been a closeted homosexual for years. He discreetly dates black men when he's not hiring black male escorts to service him. You don't have to be a soap fan to know who this actor is.

Rumors have always circulated that this black actor allegedly got turned out in jail. Don't know how true this is but I know one of his ex-wives swears he's gay, that's why she divorced him. She won't reveal how she knows he's gay and she may be saying this to get back at him but it was obvious before they married, she was way more into him than he was into her.
