What’s everybody? I have missed you all so much. We have a lot to talk about so let’s just get into it.
Ed Bradley, the longtime "60 Minutes" correspondent whose probing questions and deceptively relaxed interviewing manner graced some of that show's most notable reports, has died. He was 65.
Bradley died Thursday at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital of leukemia, according to staff members at the CBS program. FULL STORY

dy's Little Girls. This film was shot in Atlanta and from the looks of it--it might be a hit film. Diary of a Mad Black Woman mastermind Tyler Perry turns the familiar Cinderella tale on its head with this story concerning a successful female attorney who falls in love with a financially strapped mechanic. Their romance is complicated when the struggling machinist's wife comes back into the picture and threatens to take away the single father's three children. Check out the trailer. My recent absence was not in vain. I went to NYC to interview Wendy Williams and her entire “Experience” team. It was a truly defining moment in my career thus far and I was beside myself the entire interview. I will have that interview up for you guys no later then Monday. Here are some pictures of my trip to NYC. I rarely get in front of the camera when it comes to celebrities but this of course was an exception. Check them out!

One of Wendy William's catch phrase’s are “Miss a minute…..miss a whole fu*cking lot” and I have to agree. Today I missed her show and I got a call from a friend who told me that Charlemagne announced that Karrine Steffans and Bobby Brown's new reality series is slated to air on BET. Now I can’t confirm this as of yet but, I have already made my phone calls and sent out my emails to get more information. If they did—I would be front and center—well at least for the first week!
Here is the new Vibe magazine cover. I hear Eminem is making a comeback. I wouldn't mind hearing some new music from him.

Listen I know this is the “Hot and Black” site but I just can’t sit here and ignore the Britney Spears/ Kevin Federline/ Shar Jackson debacle. I know everybody is enjoying the salaciousness of it all—but if you look a little deeper you’d see that it’s really quite sad.
What you see in this situation is two women who didn’t and probably still don’t value themselves enough to be with a man who is a productive member of society. Kevin has 4 kids, two at the time when he met Britney, and the fact that he would disrespect the woman who was carrying his seed by openly dating another should have been a HUGE warning sign. Everybody is looking at Kevin as the “dog” and the “no good one” but a man—no scratch that—people are only going to do what you ALLOW them to do to you. As a man it really bothers me that women are so f*cking stupid sometimes.
But I tell you one thing and this I am willing to money on, I bet you that if Kevin wants Shar Jackson back—he could have her.

I know my billboard report is later then expected this week but its better late then not at all right?
John Legend is surprisingly holding strong this week. After coming in at #2 last week selling 246K units, this week he remains atop of the charts selling 114,849 more copies of Once Again. A lot of people have been watching John’s record company G.O.O.D. Music very closely. There are rumors going around that G.O.O.D. Music is no longer—to be blunt they have folded. But reps for the company continue to deny those rumors. We will just have to see what happens wont we?
Say what you will about Justin Timberlake’s album but white boy is doing his thing. His new album Future Sex/Love Sounds has been in the top 10 for 8 weeks now and he continues to have consistent success. This week he comes in at # 7 selling 87k albums. Many can and will argue the fact that his skin color has a lot to do with it—but I out of all the albums I have heard since August his is one of the best. And I am just being honest.
Beyonce is still trying to do her thing—well a little bit. The overexposed pop sensation is still in the top 20. She came in at #13 this week selling 57k units. Her album is finally certified platinum by the RIAA which would be great for most artists but not Ms. Beyonce-Jay-Knowles-Carter. This newest album has been a complete flop for her—and trust you me she is banking that her DreamGirls soundtrack is a hit!
All I want to know is who is going to tell Diddy to give it up, you or me? Press Play isn’t being played by anyone according to sales figures. After debuting with a weak 176k units sold this week he is at #20. It’s just crazy and completely laughable at how the man still thinks that he knows music. Did anyone see him come to the defense of his artist Cassie lately? If not look below! When you have to come to your artists defense about her talent its time to let her go!
Mediatakeout.com has published some excerpts from Carmen Bryan's new book It's No Secret. If you dont know who Carmen Bryan is--she was the one who is rumored to be at the center of Jay-Z and Nas's beef. To be honest with you had she of released this book 10 years ago when people were more interested she could have captialized off of it more. But, honestly who even remembers that Jay-Z and Nas drama? Bill, you don’t settle if you’re not guilty!!
Mr. Bill Cosby has spent the last few years of his life protesting and degrading everything from how black woman raise their children to the lack of black fathers taking responsibility for their life and their families. He’s even made headlines over his abrasive speeches. But it looks like Bill has made headlines once again and this time not for anything speech related.
Comedian Bill Cosby has settled a lawsuit filed against him by a Canadian woman, Andrea Constand of Pickering, Ontario. Constand sued Cosby for allegedly sexually assaulting her at his mansion in Cheltenham Township in January 2004. She sought compensation from Cosby for "mental anguish," "post-traumatic stress disorder" and the "loss of enjoyment of life's pleasures."
The massage therapy student, now 33, alleged that Cosby gave her medication and then fondled her breasts and put his hand on her genitals one evening while the two were in his home.
She said she developed a friendship with the star while working at his alma mater, Temple University.
Constand filed a complaint against Cosby with Durham Regional Police in January 2005 and the case was turned over to police in Philadelphia.
All I know is inncocent people don’t settle—and maybe Mr. Cosby needs to analyze his own behavior before he so articulately chastises others.
