I haven’t said this man’s name in quite sometime—Kobe Brant has kept a very low profile since the extremely salacious rape allegations a couple of years ago. But he’s suddenly been thrusted back into the spotlight. Kobe Bryant was sued in Federal Court today by a fan who claims he was deliberately elbowed by the NBA star during a Lakers game at FedEx Forum in Memphis last year -- and now the fan wants $75,000 in damages for unspecified injuries!
In his suit, Bill Geeslin claims that during a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on November 14 of last year, Bryant came off the court during play, landed on him, and that Bryant "committed assault and battery and engaged in extreme and outrageous conduct when [Bryant], without provocation, violently struck Mr. Geeslin with [his] elbow, causing Mr. Geeslin injury and damages." Actually her exact words were "I was not buying -- not buying or not buying," said Oprah at the time. "That's why I kept saying 'you're gone, you're really gone' ... . She is accused of throwing a cell phone at her housekeeper that allegedly left a bloody mess on the woman’s uniform. Naomi was only in court for 10 minutes—the judged quickly adjourned the case after the district attorney said that a plea bargain is still possible. If no plea deal is worked out her case will go to trial in January, I’m so over Naomi!!
Though Whitney Houston was dripping in diamonds at a Mercedes Benz gala recently, it looks like those diamonds were rented because according to dailyrecord.com she is in the red. Whitney’s 6 million estate at North Gate Road and Cross Way will be foreclosed on, unless the soon-to-be divorced singer comes up with more than $1 million.
Houston has until Jan. 4 to pay $ 1,043,106 to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, the service agent for Chevy Chase Bank, which holds the mortgage. The deadline was set by the Morris County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

In my head I had written The Game off as being that one hit CD wonder—despite having sold 5 millions copies of his freshman album. But it seems that I’m wrong with this one because dailyhitsdouble.com is predicting that The Doctors Advocate will sell a half a million copies come this time next week.
