JESSICA SIMPSON PUSHING ALBUM BACK...."THEY SAY" -"I SAY"

They say:(MTV) Looks like Ashlee Simpson won't have any competition on the charts from her sister after all this fall — Jessica Simpson's album, And the Band Played On, which was due for a November release, has been pushed back until May/June of next year, according to her label rep. ...

I say: The reason why they are pushing her album back is because this Nick Lachey, and Jessica Simpson "are they arent they divorced" thing is putting her in a bad light. Also lets not forget that "Nick and Jessica" are a brand, and as such there divorce will end any lucrative deals that were shared. That is a little of it anyway on why she is lying low. I bet you we wont see her as much in the comming months, and im waiting on the released statement from both the "Newlyweds" admitting they are in fact seperated or divorced any day now seeing that the whole worlds knows. Star Magazine says that "In fact, Nick has lately been reported to be spending his nights on a couch at the L.A. home of his friend Matt Leinart, 22, quarterback of USC's football team." Another reason Jessica wont be releasing her album is -lets face it people Ashlee Simpson cant sing, and she isnt going to have a huge album like Autobiography. People have come to realize that she's just making money off of the Simpson Brand, and the kids are moving on, so it would be quite the conflict of intrest to have both sisters realeasing albums 30 days apart. Ashlee Simpson needs every Simpson record she can get. And the last part is quite simple. Jessica's Album needs more work, and better production. Jessica has found it hard to find who she is musically. Once again lets face it. Her last album "In this Skin" wasnt a hit until Jessica uttered out those idiotic memorable words "Is this Chicken or Fish?" And if you've listened to that album you will hear that she doenst know where to go musically. Let us not for get the horrible remake of "Take My Breath Away".. That song was a classic, and in my opinion it was a huge let down.(NOTE TO ALL ARTISTS IF YOU CANT DO THE ORIGINAL SONG BETTER OR AS GOOD AS ITS PREDECESSOR LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!)I am not saying that Jessica Simpson cant sing, but what does singing have to do with it. She needs to find her music niche', she has already found here ditsy blond one.
