USHER PLEASE SIT YOUR ASS DOWN SOMEWHERE!!
By L.T. Dinwiddie
Usher gets on my damn nerves! In a recent interview on MTV.com he’s blasting younger artists for copying his style and not paying him proper respect. In the interview this is what he had to say:
First off lets be honest, Usher’s singing career was not based on his singing. From day one he’s learned how to monopolize and manipulate the media as well as his fans with his boyish good looks. And when that stopped working he mastered the art of the "publicity stunt". If you’ve ever seen a live performance, which unfortunately I have – it’s like watching a cheap Michael Jackson impersonator.
There wasn’t and still isn’t anything original about Usher’s career except of course his skillful ablity to have most woman in America fooled – most of you know what I’m talking about.
Usher needs to pay homage to the artists of the past and stop getting on the Omarion’s and the Chris Brown’s of the world for doing exactly what he did – recycle old music styles and tailor them to today’s music. Usher please sit your ass down somewhere before your last handful of fans turn their back on you for good.
I know one thing, if U thinks he can come back and sell like he used to he’s going to be sadly mistaken. I wonder what publicity stunt he’s going to come up with this time? Oh and one more thing--How You Doin Usher!

"I feel like these kids have gotten a little too disrespectful, and I'm about to get [back in there], so just be ready," he said with a smile.
"Well, for instance," he explained, "you got your artists who find their way through the circuit and are following and are not giving the respect where the respect is due. If you know [you're] following and biting, then, hey, give the respect. But if you're not, and you're creating your own thing, then you're good. You should just continue to find your own way.
"Listen, this is not a game out here, man," he continued. "You can't come around here and think that you're really starting the game. Understand, when I came up in the game and I found a trail, I was cool. Bobby Brown went this way, Michael Jackson went this way, Marvin Gaye, he created his little profile and he held to it. I didn't step on those toes. What I did was find a way and my thing and created my thing. Now you have my thing being built. So I look up, and I'm like, 'OK, I see you all. I see you all in the videos. I see you moving, I get it, but pay the respect, man.' "

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Usher really needs to get off of his high horse. He is NOT ORIGINAL! And that is not an insult. Nothing or no one in the music industry is original anymore, especially R&B. When I see Usher, I see Michael Jackson. And while I think Usher is talented and dances well, it's just not original. Good, but not original. He needs to take these comparisons to these younger artist as a compliment to his talent.
Haters! Think real hard who was doing it big like Usher before Usher,Hes what people who like entertainment call a Entertainer! He may not have the best vocals but he makes up for it with Style.I think Chris Brown & Omarion are in a Younger, crump dancin,Finger snappin, break dancin stage.....I bet that Chris Browns 2nd album doesnt touch Ushers or Omarions sells half the records Usher has sold,so please be a fan of entertainment before you judge & hate on Usher.
Some people are so serious! LOL I don't think anyone is hating on Usher. He is an entertainer. I don't think anyone is taking that away from him 2nd anomymous blogger, but for him to say that he's original is false. He's not. That still doesn't mean that he's not good at what he does, because he is. However, so are these other young men. Saying that they are copying his style and that he found his own way is stupid. What else are they supposed to do? They sing and they dance. So does he. So do a lot of R&B aretist before and after him.
Usher is good at what he does, but come on Chris Brown is sweet as hell. I think he dance better and differnt than usher. Its alot of people that try to dance but its only a hand full of them that people want to see there video or stage performance because of there dancing, and one of them is
chris Brown.
