REV RUN'S DAUGHTERS TOUCH DOWN IN ATL TO PROMOTE "PASTRY"!
By L.T. Dinwiddie
Ok, so last night I went to “reality show princesses” and now entrepreneurial enthusiasts— Vanessa and Angela’s Simmons private Pastry celebration.
If you haven’t heard, Rev Run’s daughters have united in business to create a distinctive shoe apparel that is sure to have their fans and young girls alike flocking into retail stores. The private event was held right above the popular eatery—Dolce. The theme of the night was pastries of course, simple right? But they threw in something a little extra—bowling! Many of the Simmons fans came out to support and rub elbows with the daughters of one of the orginal Godfather's of Hip-Hop.
My friend Sandra Rose also got some more great shots of the fashion forward duo at their meet and greet from earlier that day.
While surveying the crowd I also was surprised to run into R&B singer Case showing his love and support to Simmons brand. Case has had steady musical success with such hit songs like “Touch Me Tease Me”, “Happily Ever After”, and “Missing You”. But it seems he’s fallen into obscurity lately because I forgot he ever existed He informed me that he is currently in the studio working on new music and that it will be released sometime very soon. He also educated me on his business plans for the CD. Case will release it completely independent. I hope he does well, I really like that dude.
Check out the pictures and I also got some video for you to check out.
I was up until the wee hours of the AM getting all this uploaded. Enjoy, and have a good weekend!
