Everyone is paying close attention to Janet and Ludacris's albums. My partner in crime freezefiyah over at hhnlive.com is reporting that Janet Jackson’s new album is a international Flop. She failed to sell in major worldwide markets like UK, Germany, Australia and Ireland, which are the biggest markets in the world. They are 2/3 of the world's music sales outside of the US. Here are the chart positions for those countries in the first week as of October 1st 2006....
UK - # 63 (3K SOLD ) Ironically this is just one place higher than Justin Timberlake's re-entry at #64 with his 2002 album Justified!!!!
AUSTRALIA - failed to chart in top 50 albums (no chart position given as sales less than 1000 copies)
IRELAND - failed to chart in top 100 no position given (sales of less than 750 copies)
NETHERLANDS - #34 (roughly sales of 5000 copies) FULL STORY

Hip-hop producer Feemster, who has worked with Eminem, 50 Cent and Ne-Yo, flew to Jackson's new home in Ireland in September, according to his uncle, manager Charles "Big Chuck" Stanton, who told the Los Angeles Times that Jackson is working on a music comeback that is a step away from his recent soft R&B sound and toward an edgier urban style. Friend in my head Jawn Murray sat down to talk with Marques Houston (MH) recently about his new album and who he’s dating. It’s the first article that I have read in a long time that actually told me something that I didn’t already know. Am I the only one who didn’t know that MH possibly dated or jumped off with Beyoncé and Brandy, WTF? I guess I don’t pay attention to him seeing that he’s just so damn corny. In the article Jawn says regarding his music: “he's at a stage in his career where his music is too mature for the kids and adults aren't quite sure if they're ready to embrace him.” I can’t say that I agree with that statement. MH hasn’t evolved as a singer. If you listen to his music, particularly his newest song “Favorite Girl” it all sounds the same. There is no growth in his vocals. It’s the same thing with Omarion. That’s why he’s in a “weird” place which is just another way of saying that he’s not selling records. FULL STORY

According to Contactmusic.com, R&B diva Toni Braxton has blasted doctors who failed to diagnose her son with autism because she's sure the three-year-old could have been helped if the neurological disorder had been spotted earlier. hat’s right everybody if you thought listening to Wendy during her coveted time slot 2-6PM (7PM if you live in the New York area) was great then watching her on VH1 is going to be the ultimate experience. Wendy and co-host Charlagme the God will be bring us all the “How You doing”, “It is What it Is”, “Owwww” and “Heeeeeyy” we can take. You know I meant to report this story on Sunday but Desperate Housewives came on and I lost all focus. Don’t look at me like that, it goes DOWN on Westeria Lane. Why couldn’t my cul-de-sac have been that interesting growing up? But anyway Atlanta rapper Bone Crusher broke the mold and the record (literally) on this season’s “Celebrity Fit Club” on VH1. The hip-hop heavy weight lost a staggering 51 lbs in 16 weeks and broke the record for losing the most fat in the show’s history. Good for you Bone.
Message to Lupe: It isn’t wise for you to have such loose lips when you’re just getting your footing in th
e hip-hop game. According to various media sources Lupe Fiasco is running off at the mouth about Jay-Z. He told contactmusic.com that “Jay-Z is only putting out his new album “King Come” for the money. Is that a sideways diss? Am I reading into too much? As we all know Ciara has a new albums coming out and she has let MTV in to the studio to get an exclusive first listen. Her new song “Promise” was released a few weeks ago and I haven’t heard it played on the radio much, so I guess its not getting much air play. Her new album “Ciara: The Evolution” hits stores in December.
