I have been wrestling with the thought of talking about an experience that I had last week at Puff Daddy's trendy restaurant Justin's, I dont generally speak about my personal life or personal experience with celebrities, but I am still disgusted so I figured talking about it might allow me to get over it. Me and few of my friends were attending what was advertised as a night with singer Lloyd. I really wanted to see what he could do performance wise live, because that’s how I rate talent now a days, CD’s don’t do it for me. When we got to Justin’s we were met with nothing but frustrations. The valet parking attendant was nowhere to be found, and when he finally showed up he didn’t have anymore parking spaces for me and my party. I ended up parking in the bank parking lot next door for a $10 charge. After I parked we made our way into the restaurant were we experienced the worst customer service I have personally ever experienced. Our reservation was set for 10:30, but when we arrived the host said there was a 30 minute wait. When the reservation was made the hostess stressed to me that the dress code was business casual, yet when we arrived all I saw were throwback jerseys and Timberland boots. I was under the impression that this was going to be a “grown and sexy” event, but the oldest patron had to be my best friend of 32 years old. Everyone else there was so young, they were serving similac vodka shots. It wasn’t the intimate moment that I imagine where me and my friends could dine on great cuisine, and exchange great dialogue with one another. The speakers were so loud that the opening act kept blowing them out. I had to yell into the host's ear the entire time, and her me. All in all I was very disappointed in Justin’s; me and my party didn’t stay. We decided to take out grown and sexy selves to a much better establishment.

Speaking of Puffy

Myra Panache is reporting that Diddy can no longer be used because it belongs to someone else. Rap mogul Sean Combs has been forced to give up the "Diddy" part of his name after being sued by a UK music producer also called Diddy. Combs has changed his name from Puff Daddy to P. Diddy to simply Diddy will be forced to pay substantial damages to Richard Dearlove. Combs is also banned from using the name Diddy in the UK following the High Court settlement.


Is Keisha Knight Pulliam dancing with the white lady? That’s what Bossip.com is saying, apparently she has been allegedly involved in heavy drug use since her school daze’s at Spellman. Now you all know that I love me some Janet Jackson, but all the nekkid pictures are becoming a bit much. I would expect this from the younger artists. I mean yea I know she lost the weight and is trying to compete with the kids to remain intresting to the general public, but at the same time I don’t see Christina, Beyonce, Rhianna, or even Lil Kim doing the naked thing. Janet you’re too old to be damn near naked on every magazine cover. I love you but come enough is enough.

I’ve been getting tons of emails from people inquiring why I haven’t talked about the R Kelly Trial which is supposed to start on October 13, 2006. My response is plain and simple: “What’s the point?” R Kelly won’t go the jail for these charges, if they haven’t put in jail by now trust me it’s not happening. But I will say that it’s a bad day when R Kelly can get off for child molestation, and child pornography, but Ronald Isley whose damn near 70 gets sentenced to jail for 3 years for tax evasion. Our country is so screwed up.

Well surprise surprise, Jay-Z drops his new single in October. O1LT.com has the cutting edge on entertainment news. If anyone can recall, I talked about this months ago, damn hear the beginning of the year about Jay-Z dropping a new album in the fourth quarter of 2006. His new album drops November 14th and his new single is called "Show Me What you Got". In a way I’m happy because hip hop needs Jay, but then I am also torn because when you retire and hang up your mic, you should keep it hung up. How can you be the president of a record label, and be an artist? No disrespect to Puffy, but that’s how Puffy became lame, and his artists like Faith, 112, Mary J, Blige, and others jumped ship. It’s a major conflict of interest. I wonder if he and LL Cool J will do a lyrical battle, how would that be?FULL STORY
