WHY I NOW CAN OFFICIALLY CLAIM MY HATRED FOR YOUTUBE.COM!
By L.T. Dinwiddie
It’s disgusting to me how youtube has become yet another corporate extension practically overnight. What was once a uniquely conceptualized video sharing website where you could find obscure footage as well as music videos, concert footage etc. Has metamorphosised into just another corporate machine.
Youtube has taken aggressive tactics recently to combat the amount of copyright infringed material that was being played on millions of blogs around the internet. Who could argue with that right? But now a day’s youtube.com is taking it upon themselves to be a bit overly aggressive removing anything and everything that not only violates copyright laws, but also embarrass celebrities.
Beyoncé Knowles made headlines earlier today as fans who attended her Orlando, Florida concert captured a disastrous accident that left B falling down a flight of concert stairs. The crowd gasped as the Multi-Grammy winning singer plummeted. As shocking as it was, miraculously the pop star bounced right back up and kept the performance going like any professional world. However, her after concert antics have been everything but unprofessional as Beyoncé, Matthew Knowles, and Sony BMG have made it their priority to conceal the dramatic fall from the world.
The footage that was all over youtube and dailymotion have all but mysteriously disappeared. Instead of watching her accident with your own eyes, what you will now see when you attempt to play the video is “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Sony BMG”. What copyright claim? And if that’s the case why doesn’t Sony BMG see to it that all their artist concert and video footage are removed and not just their golden girl?
This footage, as shocking as it was, was extremely important for fans and foes alike to see. It show’s that the superstar is just like any of us. She falls down’s, but most importantly she gets back up and keeps it moving. It was a very symbolic moment that has now been ruined by Music World’s undying effort to shine Beyoncé in the brightest, and positive light possible. Funny, how they didn’t seem to act so swiftly when Kelly Rowland was crashing to the floor due to dehydration and exhausting.
What makes Beyoncé so god damn special all the time? In a statement released by Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Suchurer "Beyoncé's fall on stage last night in Orlando, Fl. during her performance of 'Ring The Alarm' was a mere spot on an otherwise sensational, flawless show,” If that’s the case then why try and hide it from the world?
I don’t know about you, but I will no longer support Youtube.com with my videos. I will only use video sharing websites that wont baulk just because an entertainer circum to an human emotion — embarrassment.

Hey LT, the video is still up on CNN.com. Enjoy!
Lt, I think you took that one a little too far, especially about the symbolism!I thought it sounded a bit Donnie McClurkin.LOL. If I was an artist, I wouldn't want the world to see my most embarassing moment either and I'm sure you'd be the same. I'm not even a Beyonce Stan, but you can't get mad if her PR reps are working overtime to preserve an image.Celebrity longevity depends on image alone! Everyone knows that!
FUGG THAT WHEN MICHELLE FELL ON 106& PARK IT WAS PLAYED CONTINOUSLY ON YOUTUBE AND EVERYONE DIDNT SAY OH THEY SHOULD REMOVE IT, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE JUST BECAUSE BEYWEAVE FELL THEY THINK SHE IS NOT SUSPECT TO RIDICULE, MAN UP BEYWEAVE MAN UP....AND OH YEAH YOU BUSTED YOUR MAWFUCCIN ASSSSSSSSSS LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
HA HA HA HA HA, THAT $H!T WAS EXTREMELY HILARIOUS. OH WELL THAT'S THE WAY THE COOKIE CRUMBLES. OR SHOULD I SAY THAT'S THE WAY ROBO-HOE FUMBES.
