Star Jones resurfaced a few short months ago with a new look, a new outlook on life, and talks of a new talk show to debut on Court T.V. However, it’s been announced that via the Hollywood Reporter that the legal station will take on a new name and new programming style come this fall.
Turner Entertainment Networks president Steve Koonin and Court TV GM Marc Juris said that the new name reflects the network's lineup of "real-life" series and that truTV will target a group of viewers known as "real engagers," defined as people who want real-life, engaging programming told in the first person.
Their new program lineup are more scripted based shows with no mention of Star Jones still untitled legal/pop culture show.
