It’s not looking good for Brandy Norwood. From Death, to now a 50 million dollar wrongful death lawsuit, it’s not looking like its going to be a good year for the former pop sensation. When word broke out over Brandy’s “accident” in California that resulted in the death of a mother of two, a lawsuit seemed imminent. And today, TMZ.com broke news that “America’s Got Talent” judge will in fact be hit with a court case. This case isn’t to be taken lightly by any means. If the court rules in favor of the plaintiff, this could wipe Brandy and her small fortune completely out! FULL STORY
I received this email today from someone who claims to be apart of Tyrese’s team:
"I am a very private person but as untrue information is still circulating, I feel I owe it to my fans and supporters to finally address the rumors and put them to rest once and for all. Please be assured that accusations of an alleged physical altercation between my girlfriend and me are absolutely false. No charges were filed. I am grateful for the prayers and support I have received over the last several weeks from my fans and supporters and I want to thank them. God Bless."
Private my ass! Could Tyrese’s sudden acknowledgement be because his new album “Alter Ego” is currently #54 on the billboard charts after only 6 weeks? Whatever the reason, at this point does anyone care what happened that night? Haven’t we moved on to Brandy?
Here’s just another reason why I have a Love/Hate relationship with Mrs. “To the Left, To the Left”.
Dancers working on Beyonce's latest videos are being low-balled on their salaries in order to make the videos on the cheap. The music diva is shooting several music videos in L.A. this week, which we're told she is financing, not her label. Sources also say Beyonce's choreographer, Frank Gatson, has refused to work with any of the dancers' agents on this job. Usually, a dancer cast in an A-list artist's video can earn around $3000 for two rehearsal days and two shoot-days of work. Without agents fighting for their rights, the dancers on Beyonce's latest videos will earn less.
While some dancers have boycotted the high-profile gig, others, willing to go around their agents, have been flown to L.A. and put up at hotels to work for the lower rates -- just to say they danced for a megastar like Beyonce.
Could this be a possible episode for E’s new show Broken Dreams? FULL STORY
I have to say that I am very disappointed in Shawn Carter’s silence over his business partners teaming up with former slave owners UK-based Barclays Bank.
If you haven’t heard, majority owner, Bruce Ratner has acquired Barclays Bank in a 400 million dollar merger that will further the creation of Brooklyn’s mega-arena that is to be called “Barclay’s Center”. But after local politicians and journalists have gone public with the slavery controversy, Shawn has been lying low.
Though the self proclaimed “best rapper alive” owns less then one percent of the NJ Nets, many are expecting him to stand up and express outrage, or at least the slightest bit of emotion. But word has come from Jay-Z’s publicist that the jiggaman has “no comment” about the merger.
So it appears that Jay will call for boycott’s of products or mergers that don’t effect his money directly. Everything else is fair game. I swear, if don’t stand for something you will fall for anything.

Oh, Jay. As much as he bitched about Cristal, I'd expect more from the Jiggaman.
You silly, Jay used to crack to his own people in Marcy projects that he claim he love so much. He also shitted on another black man(Dame Dash) so he can go work with a white dude(Lyor Cohen).
I don't know why ya'll be looking at these hip hop dudes like they civil rights activist or MLK or somebody like that. These niggas is in it for the money, above everything else, the money.
Besides do you know how many companies profited off the slave trade? What do what Jay to do, sell off his 1% ownership, like that would make a difference.
Ya'll muthafuckas have no clue, it's sad and funny at the same time.
