The buzz in the streets has been sizzling since word spread that former owners of The Source Magazine, Dave Mays and Raymond "Benzino" Scott, were launching a new groundbreaking magazine titled Hip-Hop Weekly. Many people counted out two of the most influential people in hip-hop when they were officially separated from The Source earlier this year. However, it looks like you can't count them out just yet. With hip-hop seeping into mainstream pop culture now more then ever, it is perfect timing to launch this publication. The hip-hop duo is attempting to do something that has never been done on any level in hip-hop until now.
Judging by Benzino and Dave’s accomplishments with their former publication H.H.W. is destined to be a just as influential and relevant as The Source ever was.
