"A MILLION AND ONE LITTLE LIES"

I watched Oprah yesterday as she addressed her audience on her choice for her latest "Oprah's Book Club" selection, "A Million Little Pieces". Oprah was clearly upset by the fact that James Frey lied about his memoir, which we now know was completely fictional. She really got into him. She expressed how she felt "duped", and how she regrets making the call to the Larry King Show, defending him to the world. But the one thing that impresses me the most about Oprah Winfrey is the fact that she addressed the issue on a live show, and humbly apologized to the nation for her poor judgment. No matter what people. A lie is a LIE is a LIE is a LIE... remember that always. I have personally never been a drug addict which is what this book explores-the recovery of being a drug addict. But if I were to use this book and try to aspire to be like the James Frey, and "hold on". After all of this I would feel betrayed. And BTW wasn’t her hair off the chain...?!?
